IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THIS DATA
**On July 15, 2003, the internet
temperature and humidity sensor was moved away from the building into a
radiation shelter. Temperatures before this date (especially maximums) should not be
considered accurate, since this move had very significant effects on
certain temperature
readings. Temperatures after this date match up with NOAA temperatures
much more closely. Click here to see discrepancies between the two
stations in 2002.

*Note that "Geoff's House" in 1996, 1997, and 1998a was located about a block southwest of the current Mono Lake Committee weather station. Therefore, precise trends in temperature and wind before and after 1998 should not be compared between the two locations. Precipitation data was not collected at the former location.
