Notes, Remarks, and Observations

  • CALIFORNIA GULLS and EARED GREBES not recorded due to ongoing census efforts or research
  • Entire shoreline of Mono Lake surveyed including DeChambeau Ponds
  • Flock of 70 Cormorants in flight recorded along the northeast shore.
  • Solitary Sandpipers observed in two different locations by different individuals with complete descriptions.
  • AM Weather: partly cloudy PM Weather: breezy and cool, mostly cloudy with occasional scattereed showers
  • Mono Lake elevation 6384.8 feet above sea level
