Jeff Robins was sitting in a lawn chair reading when this snake approached him; he got up and moved off, and the snake went into someone's tent and crawled under the sleeping bag. The fellow holding the snake was someone from the chipmunk study; they also stayed on the creek in 1975 and 1976. I think his name was Tom, but I'm not sure.
